A word about Natchez-Under_the-Hill - Some of you have expressed some concerns. You have been told about the "squalor of 'Natchez-Under-The-Hill.' Cutthroats lurk in alleyways, pickpockets swarm the muddy streets like locusts. Smoke-shrouded saloons vibrate with loud, gaudy laughter of shady ladies plying their ancient trade in the shadow of nimble-fingered gamblers. Murderers find sanctuary in this lawless community tucked beneath the hill, and thieves squabble among themselves for prime territory." Let me reassure you good gentlefolk....... it's all quite true. As different from the city of Natchez on the bluff as Day from Night - Natchez-Under_the-Hill, will live down to your every expectation. Saloons, dance hall girls, gamblers, scoundrels and Rakes abound.
